Having lived in and around Cranleigh for more than 40 years, Edward is a font of local knowledge.

Edward’s parents moved to Cranleigh from Haywards Heath in 1980 and he joined Roger N Coupe in 1991, just three weeks after the firm was established by Roger Coupe.

Edward proceeded to work his way up from junior negotiator to manager to junior partner and then partner. Along the way, he also met his wife, Caroline, when she joined the firm as a negotiator in 1994. They married in 1999 and Caroline went on to take over the administration side of the business, a role she enjoyed up until 2022.Ed and Caroline now live in Loxwood and have two children, Harriet (21) and George (19) and a Labrador called Pippa.

When he’s away from his desk, Edward is a keen motorsports fan and enjoys walks with the dog, both locally and on the coast atThe Witterings.
